Team Of Feature Film Mohandas At Noida Film City

After being part of the creative team in super hit films like Satya, Jhankar Beats and Masti, cinematographer Mazhar Kamran is now ready to release his directorial debut titled’ Mohan Das’ informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios while welcoming the team of feature film Mohandas at AAFT and ASMS at Noida Film City. Talking to the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television and Asian School Of Media Studies the Director of the film Mazhar Kamran declared that “unlike its resemblance to the name Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi, the film is a black comedy and derives zero similarity from the patriot.
The film is made on a small scale with talented actors like Sonali Kulkarni, Nakul Vaid, Sushant Singh, Sharbani Mukherjee, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Uttam Haldar, Aditya Shrivastav, Akhilendra Mishra and Govind Namdeo who all were present there to interact with the media students.
Sandeep Marwah also informed that the film is made under the banner of Vertika Films Pvt Ltd. and is produced by Abha Sonakia.
Sonali Kulkarni disclosed and said “The plot of Mohan Das revolves around a man who is lost in his own country” Sharbani Mukerjee added,”. The problems faced by a common man are dealt with open satire in the film.” Replying to the questions of students of Asian Business School the Director informed that the Screenplay of the film is by Uday Prakash, Music is by Vivek Priyadarshan and Lyrics by VK Sonakia and Yash Malviya, Cinematography is by Mazhar Kamran himself, Editor is Suresh Pai and Art Director is Jayant Deshmukh.

Rahul Roy Speaks Out His Experiences At Marwah Studios

“We sell three billion tickets of Cinema Halls in one year, which is largest in the World even more than Hollywood, USA” added Sandeep Marwah introducing the Media Education System of Marwah Studios.” Our teaching, training and education system is no less than IITs and IIMs of India”explained Marwah.

Rahul Roy later took the workshop of Acting students of short term and one year course of Asian Academy Of Film And Television and answered many questions to clear their doubts. Rahul Roy also accepted the membership of International Film And Television Club.

Sanjay Suri Exressed Emotions At AAFT

The popular and the talented actor of feature films Sorry Bhai, My Brother Nikhil, Filhal, Dhoop, Bas Ek Pal, Sanjay Suri expressed the importance of emotions in Cinema in the Master class of Marwah Studios where the large gathering of Film, TV and Media Management students of Asian Academy Of film And Television, Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Business School were engrossed in listing to his statements.” Emotion is the language of Cinema” said Sanjay.” Education and training do help an actor to get familiar with the techniques of Acting” he added.

“Films need lots of passion, and hard work. This is one business where you cannot take things for granted.” said Onir the renowned Writer, Editor and Director of feature films Bas Ek Pal, Sorry Bhai and My Brother Nikhil who offered the students to be the producer of his next film by buying the shares of the project.

“We at Marwah Studios feel that interaction with the industry is not only necessary but essential” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios while introducing the guest from Munbai. “We are happy that two talented and experts from the industry are going to be the members of our family” Later Marwah presented them the membership of International Film And Television Club. Workshop On Journalism At AAFT

A full day workshop on the ethics of journalism and how to be a good journalist took place at Marwah Studios organized by the International Film And Television Research Centre in association with Asian School Of Media Studies and Asian Academy Of Film And TV for the working journalist of different News papers and TV channels.

“Be honest to your profession, journalism needs lots of passion, running a news paper is like a prayer” said Dr Bhisham Narayan Singh, former Union Minister, Government Of India and Former Governer of 7 states of India while inaugurating National Workshop on Journalism. “Honesty pay in life, it is always tough way to success” he added.

“It is important to pursue with the stories till it reaches to its end” said veteran journalist Santosh Bhartiya who has made his position from a reporter to member of Rajya Sabha. “Never afraid from the strong influences, believe in investigation,” Santosh added.

“Education and training is must for every profession including journalism” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios. Command on language, research on the subject, preparation and home work about the person are some of the tips given by Marwah with some interesting examples.

The known film director Gurbir S Garewal spoke about film Journalism and the slip outs in film journalism. Other speakers who spoke on TV Journalism were Dean ASMS prof. Suman Bajaj Kalra and Dean AAFT Prof Kalyan Sarkar .The workshop became more interesting with the large set of question answers at the end of the session.

63rd Festival Of Short Digital Films At AAFT

“It’s a great pleasure to see the creative product of young film makers .The film schools are nursery for film technicians”, said Vijay Goel, Chief Guest and former Union Minister, Government Of India while inaugurating the 63rd Festival of Short digital Films at Asian Academy Of Film And Television, Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The festival is organized by International Film And Television Club [IFTC] and has 15 best films made by the students in the last batch of AAFT produced by Marwah Films And Video Production, a production house under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah.

“I had the opportunity to be in different countries of the World, but the kind of Film and TV education AAFT is providing in India, it is commendable.” Said Krishna V. Rajan, an IFS and former Ambassador to Nepal and Chairman of Universal Peace Federation [India Chapter].

“I am proud that I could create an International Record with the students of AAFT, and could produce 1500 short films with the young film makers of 70 countries of the World.” informed Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

The other speakers who spoke on the occasion were Vinod Zusti, a TV producer Director,
Arun Kumar of International Sports Entertainment Ltd, Anoop Bhandari Editor Models and Trend, Kalyan Sarkar Dean AAFT. Later Sandeep Marwah presented Academy Award to Rajesh Bajaj the alumnae of AAFT from 6th Batch for his sincere contribution to Film and TV Industry. Rajesh Bajaj has been the director of more than 150 advertisement films, writer director of known film ‘Hari Puttar’,and now working in Hollywood with Oscar winning actor Helly Berry as writer/Director.
