Asian School of Media Studies Proud of Alumnus Qasim Khallow

“I was absolutely unaware of films and film production when I joined ASMS Asian School of Media Studies in 2005. My alma matter not only gave me knowledge and training about cinema but also added a lot of confidence and zest to be part of this industry” said Qasim Khallow addressing to the students of ASMS.

Qasim Khallow is now Director of Making of the Films including CHAMKU, HEROES, YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA, CHAAR DIN KI CHANDANI, Yash Raj Films EK THA TIGER, AURANZEB and now GUNDAY. He has also worked in more than 20 corporate films during his stay in U.A.E.

“ASMS is proud of Qasim who has done commendable work and wish him a bright future. I am sure Qasim will be directing a full length feature film of his own soon” said Sandeep Marwah President of ASMS.

Sandeep Marwah is patron to AAU since 2002 and has been working hand in hand with the concept to take a wider and broader look through this international involvement.

Two days international summit has been planned in Delhi to voice for Asian Union. All the 52 countries of Asia are going to participate. The national meeting was attended by J.S.Saluja, J.C.Batra, k.k.Sharma, D.K.Arya, Aadil Khan, Dr. Shobha Kulshrestha, R.K.Singh, Ashok Tyagi and G.S.Khera.

A grand Show of Asian Education Group once again going to be with the masses of the World on 12th to 14th February under the banner Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2013.

This is going to be the first of its kind in the country of India and complete Asia and almost certainly second in the World. This is first time a family of 10,000 media professionals has announced International Day of Journalism on 12th February now supported by many more thousands all over the World.

The first poster was launched at Marwah Studios in the presence of prominent people of the society. “We will make GFJN a permanent feature and will celebrate International Day Journalism every year on 12th February to mark our respect towards this oldest profession” articulated Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

Asian News Agency Will Cover All activities of Global Festival of Journalism

Asian News Agency has joined hands with First Global Festival of Journalism Noida fixed on the International Day of Journalism on 12th February 2013.

We are in high spirits that the date for International Day of Journalism has been decided by the renowned International Media personality Sandeep Marwah from New Delhi. Marwah has created copious records in media.

Asian News Agency will cover all the events projected during three days of Global Festival of Journalism in the month of February including International Radio Day on 13th and Valentines Day on 14th of the month.

Dr Shobha has been in education for more than 30 years and has been associated with number of national & foreign Universities. She has been working for different mediums of media for different media houses. She has a vast experience in managing media houses in India and abroad.

Dr, Shobha is currently working as Dean of Asian School of Media Studies and looking after school of Cinema, Journalism and Multi Media. The first ever Global Festival of Journalism Noida is from 12th February which has been declared as the international day of journalism by Asian Education Group.

The first ever Global Festival of Journalism Noida is going to be the first of its kind in whole of Asia and the second one in the World. This is one mega event where journalism activities will be highlighted all the three days. The festival is being launched on the International Day of Journalism on 12th of February 2013.

The oldest chamber of the country PHD Chamber of Commerce will also participate in the first ever Global festival of Journalism Noida scheduled for 12th to 14th of February 2013 starting on the International Day of Journalism.

Global Festival of Journalism is Created by ASMS- Department of Journalism

“We have more courses on journalism than even Cinema. All our training and education is bended towards journalism too from last 20 years. We need to have a festival of journalism” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian School of Media Studies addressing the department of journalism in the school.

“Print, Radio, Television, Cinema, New Media and events all are inclined towards journalism in department of Journalism in ASMS. We have already proved that we are the best and have excellent infrastructure to give training in journalism” said Dr. Shobha Kulshestra Dean ASMS.

Global Festival of Journalism is the outcome of ASMS- department of Journalism. Most of our students are working in newspapers, channels on both creative and technical side added Dr. Shobha. 12th February has been marked as the International Day of Journalism.

Interactive Session At PHD on Safety Measures For Women

An interactive session was organized by the infrastructure committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of Ashish Wig. PHD invited Satyandra Garg IPS Joint Commissioner Delhi Police to give a talk on “Proposed Safety Measures for Women in Public Transport”

The subject was introduced by Suman Jyoti Khaitan President PHD Chamber who stated that there is a need to give rethinking to the unorganized crimes and daily hindrances which women suffer in public transport.

“We are putting our best to provide a comfortable situation to every citizen possible. This is only possible when residents support us in maintaining the law and systems” said Satyandra Garg IPS to the large number of women gathered to discuss their grievances.

“Education is the real remedy. We have to once again indoctrinate moral education in schools and colleges so that we have better citizens joining industries. Respect for elders, women, space to kids everything will come to lime light” added Sandeep Marwah renowned media person. The program was conducted by Ashish Wig and Ranjeet Mehta.
