Exhibition of Paintings by Swapan Kumar Sarkar at Guatemala Film Festival


Noida: Exhibitions are always been an integral part of any festival. This time also Swapan Kumar Sarkar a renowned painter from West Bengal was invited to show case his works at the International Festival of Films from Guatemala.

“A super arrangements at Marwah Studios backed by Asian Academy of Film And Television and supported by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has left no stone unturned to project Guatemala in this campus so well” said Danilo R. Marcucci Minister Counsellor & Deputy Head of Mission.

“I am overwhelmed by the success of the festival and simultaneous my exhibition of paintings at the festival. I am thankful to all the national & foreign dignities for gracing my exhibition” thanked Swapan Kumar Sarkar renowned painter.

H.E. George de la Roche Ambassador of Guatemala to India, Boney Kapoor renowned filmmaker from Mumbai and Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios inaugurated the exhibition.

Mrs Universe Maya Singh, Social worker Sumita Das, Secretry General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi also spoke on the occasion. Swapan Kumar presented his piece of art to Sandeep Marwah and AAFT honored him with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.

Swapan Kumar Sarkar a profession trained artist from Indian Art College, Bharti University, Kolkata is a specialist mime instructor at Gandhi Samiti and Darshan Smiriti. He is also visiting professor at Asian Academy of Film And Television.
