Cannes: Well known Indian Film, Television and Media personality Sandeep Marwah was the Co-President of Jury for Global Short Film Awards Cannes

 Cannes Global Short Film Awards Gala and Luxury Fashion Shows is held during the world-famous Cannes International Film Festival. This was the fourth edition this time. Global Short Film Awards, established in 2015, recognizes excellence in short films less than 15 minutes long in a variety of subjects.

“The competition is open to both amateur and professional filmmakers from around the world. The competition provides creative filmmakers with a platform to showcase their work thereby gaining exposure and recognition as well as connecting with decision makers in the industry for possible further business, distribution and purchase,” said Sandeep Marwah to the press at Hotel Intercontinental Carlton Cannes.

GSF Awards founder and director Andres Aquino identified this as an opportunity to combine top-notch fashion and entertainment while recognizing exceptional short films in a glitzy upscale event.

The international jet-set of royals, VIPs, celebrities, influencers, movers and shakers have embraced the GSF Awards Gala enthusiastically, making it one of the most “don’t miss” events in Cannes. Top fashion models, international press and makeup and hair industry leaders also attended the event informed Sandeep Marwah.

Cannes: “We are pleased to announce 196 Scholarships to 196 different countries of the World for the deserving student who is keen in learning films in India,” declared Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television at 72^nd Cannes Film International Festival at France suggesting to international film organizations.

“We also have provision to celebrate 12 festivals in a year country wise, say one in month for films from different countries, We will be pleased to entertain four to six films for every festival,” added Marwah while talking to the film makers of different countries.

Marwah Studios, AAFT and ICMEI will also invite known filmmakers that are producers, directors, actors and technicians for the coming 12^th Global Film Festival Noida 2019. AAFT is also keen in conducting workshops by these known people.

Sandeep Marwah of Republic of India became center of attraction. Marwah had more than fifty meetings with filmmakers of many countries who are keen to be on the education board.

Cannes: The well known film and television person Sandeep Marwah represented India in 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival and was invited by the Netherland Government to their Get Together.

We are keen in developing business with Netherlands. A scholarship for the deserving student to learn cinema in India can also be handed over to the Ambassador of Netherlands in India. A festival of films from Netherland is also due in Delhi and Marwah Studios can take full initiative to do so,” said Sandeep Marwah attracting film makers to India.

Cannes: Renowned film TV and media personality of Republic of India Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been honored with Life Time Achievement Award by A F I World Cinema Initiative at American Pavilion at 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival in a grand function.

“Sandeep Marwah may not be that old but his contribution to World Cinema is immense. Founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Academy of Film And Television, Marwah has brought millions of people together and propagated Love, Peace and Unity through Art and Culture,” said Princess Angelique Monét   President of the organization.

Titled with Global Cultural Minister, Global Green Ambassador, Global Peace Ambassador, Global Management Guru Sandeep Marwah is Chancellor of the First Film University of India.

Cannes: “A Connaught Tail” directed by Salman Mozaffar from AAFT won AFI World Peace Initiative Awards during the 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival 2019. It was adjudged the best documentary filmed on Cellphone.

“I had the honor to receive on behalf of the Asian Academy of Film And Television the award for the best documentary announced for the film from AAFT. It was a great moment; never any Mobile film has ever been honored in Cannes from India. I am proud of my students,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT.

Filmmaker Prof. Karl Bardosh of New York University has designed the festival. Lawrence David Foldes member Executive Committee Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Science is the President of Jury, Petra Terzi President Cultural International Festivals, , Luba Balagova Kandour Founder President of Sochi International Film Festival, Yuanyuan Chen from China, Moradeum Adedoyin Solaris the authentic Princess Omoba and Peter Ferris of Ferris Entertainment London were the other members of Jury.

Cannes: Renowned filmmaker and film educationist from India Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios has been nominated as the jury member and Vice President of the Jury of the first ever Mobile Cinema Festival organized by Artisan Festival International at Cannes during 72^nd Cannes International Film Festival 2019.

A F I World Cinema Initiative provides the opportunity for a select group of filmmakers to submit their films to our Filmmaker program, geared towards taking independent filmmakers into the international industry, and showing them how to expand their own projects into this market place.  We are happy to showcase a diverse line-up of narratives, documentaries, short films, music videos, webisodes, and video art,” said Angelique Monét is an American multi-media talent and former Ms. Black South Carolina USA.

This Filmmaker Program will provide exposure and the necessary tools to understand the market place and enjoy what Cannes has to offer. This program is hosted by veterans with years of experience working the festival environment of Cannes and the marketplace.

Cannes: Within the hustle and bustle of International Cannes Film Festival Sandeep Marwah met mny film makers of different countries and informed them about the organizations he is Chairing in India.

“We are looking for joint ventures for short films, we are keen in starting Mobile Cinema in many countries, We are also interested in foreign directors to direct documentary on Indian subject,” Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at Hotel Intercontinental Carlton in a   meeting with film makers.

“We have provision to broadcast all those short films and   full length which could not manage its screening yet. Our television would   love to help those producers and directors to have screening at MSTV.CO.IN.” added Marwah.

We have also scope for producers who want their music numbers to be broadcast on Radio Noida and MSTV informed Marwah.

Cannes: “Cannes International Film Festival has proved to be very lucky, many international artists have shown their interest in working with Marwah Studios, be it a making of short film, an exhibition of paintings and other arts, a show of talent by performing artists or film screening and workshops at AAFT,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios to the press at Hotel International Carlton Cannes at La Boulevard de la Croisette.

AAFT is going to Join Hands With Film Maker From Korea Eun Oh of ARK Cinema & Film Maker From Hungary Zoi Florosz of Kyrke Productions very soon. The interaction at Cannes will be taken to the second round of meetings very soon.

“I am making a film which is going to be the tribute to my parents who were great artists, probably I might go to India to add colors to the film,” said Zoi Florosz of Kyrke Production in Hungary. Indo Hungarian Film And Cultural Forum will support the film.

My project is almost ready to launch and we will welcome support from Indo Korean Film And Cultural Forum,” added Eun Oh of ARK Cinema from Korea.

Cannes: AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television is participating in the first ever Mobile Cinema Presentation at Cannes, France during the 72^nd International Film Festival at Cannes.

A poster of this first presentation was launched at the India Pavilion to highlight first ever Mobile Cinema Competition. “ We are feeling proud to be the part of this first ever Mobile Cinema Presentation at Cannes. I am thankful to Ministry of Information And Broadcasting, Government of India for providing us this platform to launch the poster,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“I am happy to be here and privileged to release the poster of AAFT presentation in Mobile Cinema,” said Padamshri A.K.Bir renowned filmmaker and National Award winner from India.

“We started the first ever Mobile Film Festival 12 years back in India –International Festival of Cellphone Cinema and now it has grown very big. This time we received 6500 entries from all over the World. We started another one in Budapest Hungry and now part of Cannes Cellphone Cinema Competition,” said Prof. Karl Bardosh filmmaker from New York.

Many filmmakers from all over the World attended the event. The India Pavilion was full of excitement and appreciation. AAFT Alumnus Amit Agarwal and renowned actress from United Kingdom Katianna Ley joined in poster release.

Cannes: The President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Dr. Sandeep Marwah visited pavilions of   different countries participating in Cannes International Film Festival 2019.

“I am pleased to note that every country has something or other to offer to film makers. It can be extra ordinary and beautiful locations, a cash subsidy on film shootings, may be hotels and food facilities, experts and trained manpower for film production. It is worth meeting large number of Governments at the same times,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while noting the details at Cannes Exhibition Grounds at the festival.

Sandeep Marwah is the only person in India representing 50 countries as their cultural representative, brand Ambassador, Cultural Ambassador, Chair for Cultural Forums etc.

Sandeep Marwah was well received by every pavilion he visited and offered the services of the Chamber to different filmmakers and Governments to develop and promote business between India and their country.
