Marwah Inaugurated India Art Festival

New Delhi: The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah inaugurated the 3rd edition of India Art Festival on 23rd November at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, INA colony, New Delhi.

India Art Festival, a contemporary art fair founded in 2011 is a new model for dialogue and collaborations between art galleries, art dealers, art buyers, artists, interior designer, architects and art connoisseurs who come together every year under roof.

India Art Festival (IAF) along with mid-level and major art galleries also provides the opportunity to emerging, independent artists to get discovered and enjoy the attention along with the established artists.

“It is a matter of great satisfaction that an art festival of this stature is taking place in Delhi. It has raised the level of our artist and provided a huge platform for art lovers to satisfy their urge to see various art forms under one roof at the same time,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“The Art Festival has added new color to the capital. It is the beginning of great international art show, I am sure with time it will attract people not only from India but whole World,” said Manish Sisodia Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.

Arpana Gaur Eminent Artist, Suhas Bahulkar Chairman NGMA Mumbai, Vasudeo Kamath President The Bombay Art Society and Rajinder Founder and Managing Director India Art Festival were also present there.

Honoris Causa for Sandeep Marwah

Honolulu: The Kings University, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America has decided to honor the renowned international media personality Sandeep Marwah with the Doctorate Degree for his untiring contribution in films, television, media and education.

“We feel honored in declaring a Doctorate ‘honoris causa’ for Sandeep Marwah, a six times World Record Holder, for his sincere contribution the World of Media and Entertainment. He has been commendable in his works,” said Dr. S. Vadivelu member of the Doctoral Research Committee of Kings University Honolulu.

The degree will be presented to Sandeep Marwah in a grand function on the visit of president of the university Dr. S. Selvin Kumar to New Delhi, India early next year.

“I am so thankful to Kings University for honoring me with Doctorate Degree. I would love to be part of this great educational group,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum Launched

New Delhi: International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Embassy of Mongolia, New Delhi launched a new committee under the name and banner of Indo Mongolia Film And Cultural Forum at a grand function at Asian Academy of Film And Television Noida.

“It is a wonderful occasion to launch Indo Mongolian Film And Cultural Forum when both the countries are looking to promote their relations through art and culture,” said H.E. Gonchig Ganbold Ambassador of Mongolia to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“India and Mongolia have interacted through the medium of Buddhism over aperiod of 2600 years. Following the emergence of Mongolia as a modern nation state in the 20th century, the two countries have continued to build relations based on shared historical and cultural legacy,” added the Mongolian Ambassador.

“It is a historical moment, I am lucky that I am present here. Diplomatic relations between India and Mongolia were established on 24 December 1955. India was the first country outside the Socialist bloc to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia,” said H.E. Vinod Kumar Indian Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

“The India-Mongolian Cultural Agreement signed in 1961, has governed the Cultural Exchange Programme (CEP) between the two countries. The Agreement envisages co-operation in the fields of education by way of scholarships, exchange of experts, participation in conferences etc.,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

The Mongolian Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the Chair and Marwah honored H.E. Ganbold with the first Patron Ship of the forum.

Government Delegation from Lesotho at Marwah Studios

Noida: A delegation of 14 senior officers of Government of Lesotho under the leadership of the Principal Secretary Office of the Prime Minister of Lesotho Ms Mataeli Makhele visited Marwah Studios to understand the media and entertainment industry of India on the recommendation of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The delegation was received by well known international personality Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. A detailed session was conducted at studios about the print, radio, television, cinema, new media and educational activities in India.

“We got the opportunity not only to inform about the industry but to discuss in detail what all we can do together with Lesotho,” said Sandeep Marwah

“I am impressed by the facilities and success of this institution. We are ready to take best advantage of Marwah Studios to revive our film industry,” said Mataeli Makhele Principal Secretary Office of the Prime Minister of Lesotho Government of Lesotho.

“Photography is a way of feeling, way of touching and way of loving. What you have captured in camera remain forever. It remembers every little thing which probably you have forgotten with time” Said H.E. Demitrios A Theophylactou while lighting the lamp of inauguration.

India And Ghana Will Promote Art And Culture Together

New Delhi: The President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah visited H.E. Michael ANN Oquaye High Commissioner of Republic of Ghana to India to brief him about the activities of the Chamber.

H.E. Michael ANN Oquaye took keen interest in the further developing relation with India through arts and culture and agreed to visit the international head quarters of ICMEI to see for himself how ICMEI is organized.

“We are here to explore the market of films, television, media, arts and culture in Ghana. Ghana was one time the biggest film market in Africa, probably we can work together to revive it the way we could do in Nigeria and Bhutan,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Global Film Festival promotes the activities of Mahatma Gandhi forum by announcing the yearly activities conducting by the forum and its members. A poster of Mahatma Gandhi Forum was launched during the festival by present dignities.

Ambassador of Czech Republic H.E.Milan Horvoka said, “Mahatma Gandhi is an ideol, every country believes in his non violence policy. We have great regard for Gandhi at Czech Republic”.

 New Edition of Magazine The Faces Released by Marwah

New Delhi: “What gunpowder did for war the printing press has done for mind. Ink is the blood to Printing press. What is printed becomes history,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the book release function of The Faces a quarterly Magazine by Harsh Anand at Karnataka Sangha Auditorium.

The program was dedicated to Open Defecation and Children Health as explained by Sucheta Anand the coordinator of the program.

“Eliminating open defecation is the main aim of improving access to sanitation worldwide and is a proposed indicator for sustainable development goals. Even if toilets are available, people still need to be convinced to refrain from open defecation and use toilets. Therefore, the need for behavioural change is critical in addition to the provision of toilets,” said Sandeep Marwah addressing to the large gathering supporting the cause.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry and Marwah Studios supported the event. Sheerya Katyal anchored the program. The formal program was followed by an entertainment evening.
