    Sandeep Marwah Released New Magazine at British Council

 

New Delhi: Primary Plus Media launched the inaugural issue of “Teach Primary” magazine Jul. 21at the British Council, New Delhi. Luminaries from the field of education and media graced the occasion and discussed various aspects of effective and pragmatic teaching practices necessary for a bright and prosperous India.

“How to impart a holistic education, with an inclusive system of education that will make youngsters able citizens capable of living up to the world-class standards of learning, is what matters. “Teach Primary” is a small step towards achieving this goal,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Alan Gemmell, director, British Council Library, presided over the event, which included Pooja Bedi, editor, “Teach Primary,” Deepak Narwal, economic senator, Europe, Sandeep Marwah, director, Marwah Studios, and last but not least, Padma Bhushan Dr. Shyama Chona, President, Tamana.

At the launch, Manbir Bedi, group editor, Primary Plus Media, said, “We need to plunge into much-needed reforms of our education system. Education can no longer be confined to a classroom. Greater importance has to be given to teachers’ training and to set a target of training.

Noida: In recognition of the former South African President’s contribution to the culture of peace and freedom, UN General Assembly declares 18 July “Nelson Mandela International Day”.

The resolution recognizes Mandela’s values and his dedication to the service of humanity in: conflict resolution; race relations; promotion and protection of human rights; reconciliation; gender equality and the rights of children and other vulnerable groups; the fight against poverty; the promotion of social justice. The resolution acknowledges his contribution to the struggle for democracy internationally and the promotion of a culture of peace throughout the world,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation while talking to the media persons at Noida Film City.

Nelson Mandela International Day 2018 marks 100 years since the birth of Nelson Mandela (18 July 1918). The Centenary is an occasion to reflect on his life and legacy, and to follow his call to “make of the world a better place.”

“Nelson Mandela devoted his life to the service of humanity — as a human rights lawyer, a prisoner of conscience, an international peacemaker and the first democratically elected president of a free South Africa. We remember him to continue from where he left,” said Boney Kapoor renowned filmmaker of India while releasing the poster to mark respect.

Poster Launched- Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum

New Delhi: ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry created a new chapter in the history of India and Iceland relationship by forming a first ever Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum at New Delhi.

H.E. Thorir Ibsen Ambassador of Iceland to India launched the forum in a grand function at New Delhi. “What a pleasure to do something which has never ever been taken place earlier-this time this forum has been created to promote and develop the relation between two countries through art and culture. I wish ICMEI all the best and I am sure we will be able to do something extra ordinary in short period of time,” said Ambassador Thorir Ibsen.

Iceland and India established diplomatic relations in 1972. At that time the embassy of Iceland in London, United Kingdom was accredited to India and the embassy of India in Oslo, Norway, was accredited to Iceland. Embassies were established in New Delhi in 2005 and in Reykjavik in 2006.

“It is great opportunity to work with the Embassy here and promote each others arts and crafts including cinema now. We have already organized a film festival of films from Iceland earlier. A special road show was also organized on the tourism of Iceland. H.E. Thorir Ibsen is also the member of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. We are looking much ahead of this now,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Sandeep Marwah presented the Patron ship of Indo Iceland Film And Cultural Forum to H.E. Thorir Ibsen and Ambassador nominated Sandeep Marwah as the honorary Chairperson of the Forum.

Recently Akshay Marwah of Asian Education Group visited Iceland to study more about Iceland and its culture.

At Eleven Madison Park—ranked No 1 on the world’s 50 best restaurants list in 2017—simplicity and minimalism are driving a culinary revolution. Bringing to India a taste of his New York based restaurant, co-owner and chef Daniel Humm was in India recently who was invited by Sandeep Marwah to Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Noida.

The World Series by American Express hosted two dinners with Humm in Mumbai and Delhi at The St Regis Mumbai and The Leela Palace New Delhi respectively. We catch up with the chef ahead of the dinners to understand what it takes for him to be on top.

Growing up in Switzerland, chef Humm developed an appreciation for fresh, local ingredients early on. He has vivid childhood memories of going to the farms with his mother to buy produce and watch her cook whatever was in season. “Great ingredients are the starting point of a great dish. But it’s what you do with those ingredients that really makes them shine,” he says. Today, Humm’s biggest inspirations are New York’s cultural history and agricultural bounty, which can be seen in the smallest details at his restaurant.

Humm sums up his food philosophy quite simply. “I want to really connect with the guests; give them something they’ve had before, but give it to them in a reinvented way.”

AIHT wants to produce some extra ordinary chefs for national and international market, our target is that good food always attract customers from all the regions,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AIHT.

New Delhi: Fifteen-member delegation of the Andijan region of Uzbekistan reached Delhi to discuss business with the members of business and service community at New Delhi.

Sandeep Marwah Chairperson of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum was invited to speak to the delegates about the activities of the forum and his departure to Tashkent same day. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India H.E. Farhod Arziev was also present there.

Alimjanov Ortikmirzo Chief Specialist Government of Andijan region, Ibragimov Yusufbek Deputy of Mayor Andijan City of Government, Abdullaev Elyorbek Deputy of Governor Government of Izboskan District and Ismoilov Sardorbek Specialist Investment department of Government of Andijan were part of the team.

“We have started working in the departments like Films, Television, Media, Arts and Culture, Fashion and Education with the government and private sector at Uzbekistan and hope that my visit will bring some concrete results at the end of the trip,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking Anil Khaitan and Saurab Sanyal of PHDCCI for inviting him.

Two Hundred Africans Nominated Marwah As Cultural Minister

New Delhi: More than 200 Africans representing Nigeria, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana and other nations gathered at Indo Nigerian Summit at Marwah Studios to celebrate cultural ties with India, a summit organized by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“Out of 55 countries of Africa Sandeep Marwah is already dealing with 40 countries of the continent, by way of attracting students or delegates for different Global Festivals and Global summits he has been organizing from time to time in association with Government of India and other international bodies,” said Solomon the Secretary of Indo Nigerian Film Association.

“It is a pleasure to note that he has been nominated as cultural Ambassador for many countries including Nigeria, Senegal, Gabon, Gambia, South Africa, Ghana and others by the respective governments of these countries,” added Uthelu President of Nigerian Association while presenting Memento to Sandeep Marwah.

“We all representatives of Africa do nominate and title H.E. Sandeep Marwah as the Global Cultural Minister. He deserves to be one as he has reached to 145 countries of the World through art and Culture,’ said Dr Mohan designated Vice Chancellor of University.

“I am indebted to all of you for your love and affection you have extended towards me by nominating me once again The Global Cultural Minister. Noida: A high powered delegation from Uzbekistan visited Marwah Studios at Noida Film City to join hands for films and media business with India.

“The Embassy of Uzbekistan has referred the most popular film, television and media unit and founders of Noida Film City to the visiting Government officials from Tashkent along with film makers as we are sure we will reach to some better conclusion, ”said Muzaffar B Kamilov Second Secretary- Information And Culture Embassy of Uzbekistan in New Delhi, India.

We are keen and ready to visit Ubzekistan as film shooting and film production is our most important agenda. We have formed Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum and your presence has added a lot to it,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“I had the pleasure to shoot two of music video from India in Uzbekistan. We are now well equipped to shoot any feature film in our country,” said Sukhrat Viayumov Producer in Koyumov Film Studios.

“We invite you to visit Tashkent and plan a film in Uzbekistan. We are open to many negotiations. Your visit will enhance the film collaboration between two countries,” said Rizayev Shuxrat Deputy General Director.

New Delhi: Mr. Farhod Arziev His Excellency, The Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to India presented with the Patron ship of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum by Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

“Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum will grow fast & better under the directions of H.E. Farhod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India. His expertize in international relations will give this organization correct advices and guidelines,” said Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and AAFT.

The members of the organization presented a memento to His Excellency in the Embassy as a mark of love and respect. “ I am pleased to be associated with IUFCF and we must design all our future plans of this Union of two countries India and Uzbekistan,” said Farhod Arziev while accepting the Patron Ship.

The organization will formally be inaugurated in the next month after the visit of the Indian delegation of 18 people to Uzbekistan under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah.

Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum Announced

New Delhi: A new committee under the name and banner of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum is formed to develop and promote relation between two countries. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India H.E. Farhod Arzieve will formally inaugurate this association in the month of June, 2018 as suggested by the members of the Chamber.

“Many people have not noticed that both our countries are very similar in history and culture. We share the same values. We, in Uzbekistan, honor the code of hospitality just like India does. People in Uzbekistan love Indian films and music. Raj Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Hema Malini are all famous names there!” said Farhod Arziev Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India on the formation of new committee in ICMEI.

“ It is nice to learn that Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture, was established in Tashkent in 1995 and has been a household name in Uzbekistan for its cultural activities,” informed Sandeep Marwah President AAFT.

Three Uzbek educational institutions, nationwide, promote studies of Hindi language, from primary to post-graduate level. Uzbek Radio completed 50 years of Hindi broadcasting in 2012.Uzbek TV channels regularly show Indian films and serials.

Renowned film and television personality Sandeep Marwah who is also the President Asian Education Group has been nominated as the Chair of the organization and   members offered Patronship of the forum to the Ambassador of Uzbekistan which he accepted whole heartedly. The formal inauguration take place in few days.
