World Heritage Day Celebrated by ICMEI

New Delhi: “World Heritage Day, which is also known as the International Monuments and Sites Day was celebrated by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Rootskills a voluntary organisation, NFTC- National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives India Limited and AAFT School of Tourism and Hospitality.

“The day is all about increasing the awareness of the importance of the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving it for generations in the future. Ancient monuments and buildings are an asset to us all around the world. However, they need to be protected to ensure that they continue to be an asset for years and years to come. Therefore, the day is a collective effort of communities around the globe,” informed Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI.

“We are ready to support NFTC, ICMEI and AAFT and its 543 tourism committees along with our volunteers to create awareness about heritage and preservation of our heritage of any kind,” said and assured Bhavisha Budhadeo President of Rootskills organization while keeping her point of view during session.

Dr Gaurav Goyal Director GIC International, Rani Shobhal Singh founder Suryauday Organization and Priiya Chhabra youth leader Rootskills also participated in the discussion.

Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated National Art And Culture Program

New Delhi: “If food is essential to live then art and culture is necessary for us to learn humanity. Art and culture bring colors to the life and break the monotonous of routine. It is important for young students to get involved with different arts, as it develops the overall personality of the child,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and Chief Scout For India in a webinar to inaugurate 15 days long art and culture festival designed by RootSkills by Bhavisha Budhadeo.

“Every student should be part of Scout & Guide Program at School. The Mission of Scouting and Guiding is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

The Scouting program has three specific objectives, commonly referred to as the “Aims of Scouting.” They are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. The methods by which the aims are achieved are listed below in random order to emphasize the equal importance of each.

Later Dr. Marwah saw the variety program performed by the young students of different schools from all over India.

    AAFT India and EMDI Bolivia Will Work Together in Education

Busan: AAFT University of Media And Arts (Raipur-Noida) signed a Memorandum of Association with Bolivian Education Company Escuela Militar De Ingenieria to promote art culture and especially education. The MOU was signed at World Education Leaders Forum during World Cultural Camp Busan, South Korea.

“Escuela Militar De Ingenieria is located in La Paz, Bolivia and is part of the Colleges & Universities Industry. The setup has 100 employees across all of its locations. There are companies in the EMDI corporate family. Dun & Bradstreet provides data on over 120 million companies like EMDI around the world, including contacts, financials, and competitor information,” informed Rommel Moron Romero Rector Escuela Militar De Ingenieria Bolivia.

“We are happy to join hands with Bolivian Education Company widely spread in Bolivia where we can start with promoting art and culture between the two countries. Addition of any new country gives us a new energy to work hard and differently,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University while signing the MOU. Indo Bolivia Film And Cultural Forum of ICMEI supported the event.

 

 

India and Kyrgyzstan Will Promote Relations Through Education

AAFT India and Ala Too University Kyrgyzstan Join Hands Together

 

Busan:  A MOU was signed between AAFT University of Media And Arts, India and Ala Too International University Kyrgyzstan at The World Education Leaders Forum during World Cultural Camp at Busan, South Korea. Both the institutions will promote art and culture through different events and educational programs.

“In order to strengthen its position on market of education, the university is working on the opening of new educational programs that are in demand in the new information and competitive job market. We carry out the exchange programs for students and teaching staff in different programs, Such programs would allow students and teachers an opportunity to continue their studies for 1-2 semesters at various universities and to share their experiences.,” said Sanzharbek Erdolatov President Ala Too International University, Kyrgyzstan.

“AAFT (Noida & Raipur) has touched 145 countries of the World. We are open for all sorts of exchange programs in our specialized courses related to glamour business. The education and training is directly correlated to the industry. Our alumni is doing very well all over the World, that has given us a status of first ten best film schools of the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts while signing the MOU. Indo Kyrgyzstan Film And Cultural Forum will support the MOU.

ICMEI Congratulated Ukraine on National Day

             ICMEI Congratulated People of Ukraine on National Day

New Delhi: “I on behalf of ICMEI and complete Media And Entertainment Industry of India extend my heartiest congratulation to H.E. Dr. Igor Polikha Ambassador of Ukraine to India and the People of Ukraine on the  occasion of celebration of National Day which falls on 24th August,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.

More than 17 bilateral agreements have been signed between India and Ukraine, including agreements on Co-operation in Science and Technology, Foreign Office Consultation, Co-operation in Space Research, Avoidance of Double Taxation and Promotion and Protection of Investments.

The India Ukraine trade relation and economic co-operation has developed on the basis the long-standing friendship between the two countries. In March, 1992 the Treaty on Friendship and Co-operation was signed between India and Ukraine, providing a major boost to India-Ukraine trade relations.

ICMEI has been promoting relation between two countries through Indo Ukraine Art And Cultural Forum when a colorful poster was launched by Mr. Andrii Muliarchuk the Deputy Head of the Mission of Ukraine in India on the third day of 1st Global Fashion Week 2017.

A very wrong concept has been prevailing that “Best of the wars are fought to bring peace to the Nations,’ explained Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in an interview to Uttatkarsh Upadhyaya a media student from Delhi.

“India is the capital of Peace and has given great peace makers to the World like Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavira, Mahatma Gandhi,” If you are depressed you are living in the past if you are anxious you are living in the future, if you are at peace, you are living in the present,” added Sandeep Marwah also President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

Sandeep Marwah has been nominated many times as Global Cultural Minister for his deep involvement in developing and promoting art and culture all over the World. He is a very well travelled and has declared a statement that Love Peace And Unity can be brought to the World through Art and Culture.

Sandeep Marwah is chairing 100 art and culture organizations, has been on the board of 200 organizations and associated with 650 organizations all over the World. He is the Chief of Scout for India where he is molding fifty-five lakhs Indian Scouts and Guides towards art and culture.

New Delhi: The International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry has always believed that the World can be brought on the same platform through art and culture-therefore a very common phrase Dr. Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI keeps on repeating that “Love Peace and Unity Can be Possible through Art and Culture, therefore it is also important to keep our heritage safe & alive,”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah was on line with members of different countries from the art and culture fraternity celebrating World Heritage Day 2020.

Every year 18th April is celebrated as ‘International Day for Monuments and Sites’ or ‘World Heritage Day’ This day is to raise public awareness on importance of diversity of cultural heritage and preserving these heritage for the generations ahead and the efforts required to protect and conserve it.

“Ancient monuments & sites are an asset to us that help us understand our history and the root of our culture for generations to come. The theme of World Heritage Day 2020 is “Shared Culture’, ‘Shared heritage’ and ‘Shared responsibility”,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Patron to IFUNA- Indian Federation of United Nation Organizations and President World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

In the time of global crises where the whole world is fighting with COVID-19 pandemic, the theme plays an important role. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, the Chamber has decided to celebrate World Heritage Day via Internet. The theme focuses on global unity with the current worldwide health crisis.

Asian Academy of Arts Celebrated Ten Years at Marwah Studios

New Delhi: The most active cultural promotional organizations like Asian Academy of Arts have come down to halt. No events, no interactions, no shows, no dramas, music and dance recitals. Covid 19 the Corona virus has changed the whole scene. National Lockout will not permit anyone to move to any entertainment centre neither it is safe to be there. Social distancing is the key word today and what will happen after lockout is another question in the mind.

Asian Academy of Arts has completed ten years from the date of its inception way back in 2010 when Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete from Mexico at Marwah Studios, inaugurated this Art promotion organization in a grand function.

“The purpose of the body is to develop and promote all sort of fine arts and performing arts including Writing & Literature, Music & Singing, Dance & Choreography, Painting and Sculpture and Drama. We are lucky that in all these ten years we have not only touched but excel in all these arts,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.

Promotion of arts is a rule at Marwah Studios. Every major event must have a special space for these art forms be it a Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Film Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, AAFT Festival of Short Films or any other.

Two major festivals Global Literary Festival and International Sufi Festival are directly under Asian Academy of Arts. Delhi Art Festival, Jashan E Hind are two more high profiled festivals where Asian Academy of Arts is partners with.

Asian Academy of Arts has created 196 international and 37 National committees and developed a wonderful relations with more than 50 countries of the World and keep on inviting people from these countries to have dance recitals, music recitals, dramas, painting and sculpture exhibitions, talks and workshops at the campus of Marwah Studios and around Delhi.

“We are associated with more than 5000 events, 600 different art and culture organizations and supporting them in fulfilling their and our dreams including All India Fine And Crafts Society, Indira Gandhi National Centre For Arts, National School of Drama, Hindi Sahitya Academy, Rabindra Bhawan, Spicmacay and Modern Art Gallery. We make 120 events round the year to promote art and culture from India and abroad,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been honored many times on National and International platforms for being one of the prominent art promoters from India. He has been titled as Global Cultural Minister many times. Now he is also the President of AAFT School of Performing Arts a degree college of higher education in art Forms.

New and innovative ways have to be devised soon to reach to the people with Indian and foreign art and culture. We are on the job, team is working and soon we will be back with big drums Marwah condensed with new enthusiasm.

   Renowned Canadian Singer Manjeet Uppal Performed At AAFT

Noida: A powerful and electrifying performance by Manjeet Uppal at the musical show organized by AAFT School of Performing Arts at Marwah Studios Noida Film City mesmerized the young college audience.

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music,” said Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University.

Manjeet Uppal is a well Known Singer from Canada. He has established his name in a short period as an actor, director, music composer and a singer. He is a multi talented person.

Manjeet has done over thousands of shows and specializes in Punjabi, Hindi, Pop, Rock, Ghazals and Sufi folk music. His unique style allows all different genres with a mix of old and new songs

“Music plays an important role in our life. It has the ability to play around with our emotions, being a musician by heart and soul, I have devoted myself to express from my inner self as a stage entertainer and performer and captivates the audience with soulful voice,” said Manjeet Uppal.

Sandeep Marwah With Saroja Vaidyanathan at Dance Presentation

New Delhi: “Work like you don’t need the money, love like you’ve never been hurt and dance like nobody’s watching you. We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Founder of Noida Film City at the inauguration of annual male classical dance presentation titled Shivaargya at Ganesa Natyalaya curated by Saroja Vaidyanathan at New Delhi.

“The dance can reveal everything mysterious that is hidden in music, and it has the additional merit of being human and palpable. Dancing is poetry with arms and legs,” added Dr. Marwah also the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts appreciating the perfection of the dancers who all were participating in day long festival.

Saroja Vaidyanathan is a guru and a notable exponent of Bharatanatyam a prolific choreographer and has to her credit ten full-length balle and nearly two thousand individual Bharatanatyam items.

Saroja Vidyanathan has written a number of books on Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music including ‘The Classical Dances of India’, ‘Bharatanatyam – An In-Depth Study’, ‘Carnataka Sangeetham’, and ‘The Science of Bharatanatyam’.

Saroja was conferred the Padma Shri in 2002 and the Padma Bhushan in 2013 by the Government of India. Later Saroja presented a set of her books to Dr. Sandeep Marwah.
