Film From  Venezuela Steel Clad Honoured with Award of Distinction

Noida:  On the second day of the 15th Global Film Festival Noida, a film from Venezuela “Steel- Clad”, was screened at the festival. During the screening, the Festival President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said “Art is an essential element to build relations between countries”. He enlightened the audience about the Indo-Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum and relation between the two countries.

“Thirty years back we gave one term to English dictionary that is “Film & Cultural Tourism”, no body could understand that but now every country is talking about it. To honour our own term we have been able to attract three million people so far to Noida Film City under Film and Cultural Tourism,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Alfredo Caldera, talked about Venezuela’s solitary cinema and how the movie, “Steel Clad” is a significant milestone in the evolution of the art, culture and cinema of Venezuela. He also extended his gratitude, to connect with ICMEI and India. Lastly, he explained how these events strengthen relations between the countries and are essential tools to propagate cinema. 

 Dr. Sandeep Marwah felicitated  Alfredo Caldera, with the distinction award for the film “Steel Clad” for being one of the most distinguished films of the festival, which was followed by the screening of “Steel Clad”. The event was supported by AAFT University, AUA-Asian Unity Alliance,, ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and WPDRF-World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

New Delhi: “The Literary festival is directly connected to culture of the country it has become more auspicious when being inaugurated on the special occasion of Hindi Diwas. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the organisers Asian Academy of Arts for their valuable addition,” said H.E. Bhagat Singh Koshyari Governor of Maharashtra while inaugurating the 7th Global Literary Festival Noida 2021 online.

“It is interesting to be global but do not forget the mother land and mother tung. You can always express better and powerfully in the language you have been brought up with. We have to admire our country where we have love and respect for large number of our own languages. We must all learn to respect the art and culture of other countries to bring in cordial relations,” added Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

“We at Asian Academy of Arts believes that love peace and unity can be. brought to the land through art and culture. The literature is the base of protection of any culture. The level of society can be measured with the level of literature,” said Sandeep Marwah President of   Festival and Marwah Studios while giving the description of the formation of Asian Academy of Arts and Global literature Festival.

Present on the occasion H.E.  Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan expressed the strong relationship between India and Uzbekistan. He also invited the delegates to the forth coming Tashkent International Festival.

H.E. Dr. Roger Gopaul High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago congratulated the organisers and thanked for the inviting Trinidad and Tobago as partners of the   event. He emphasised on the reading habits and supporting publishing of books.

Head of the Consular Affairs Embassy of Burkina Faso Coulibaly D Herve, Charter President of Lions Club Gaurav Gupta, Chairman of MSMECCI Indrajit Ghosh, and Dr. Shikha Director AAFT University also spoke on the occasion.

“This time 12 major events, 60 countries, 3 award function including Suraj Parkash Marwah Sahitya Ratan Award, Dr. Sarojni Naidu International Award for Working Women and Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award for Promotion of Art and Culture will be presented in the next three days informed Festival Director Sushil Bharti.

The event was supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, World Peace Development and Research Foundation, International Film And Television Club and AAFT University of Media and Arts.

74th AAFT Festival Of Short Digital Films

Asian Academy Of Film And Television in association with International Film And Television Club organized 74th edition of AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films. In total 11 films were shown and six best films were projected publicly in a grand function inaugurated by Stuti Kerkar IAS Resident Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh,

This festival has already created an international record of reaching 74th edition. The festival has shown around 1800 films of first time directors, technicians and artist from 90 countries of the World in last 19 years informed Sandeep Marwah President of the Festival.

The cast and crew of these selected films get another opportunity to produce and direct new project for Marwah Studios said Kalyan Sarkar the Festival Director.

“Film Festivals are the best way to showcase the creation of a film maker” said Shanker Mohan Director of IFFI International Film Festival Of India.

Ehsaas By Hemant Kumar, Just An Old Friend by Mumtaz Jahan, The search For Paradise by Shrey Srivastava, Partishod by Rahul Choudhary, Music Video by Shrey Srivastava, and Kadwa Sacch by Dhirendra Singh were the selected and popular entries of this festival.

Renowned Dress designer Viraja Bajaj, Dr.Gopal Ji of GYA Global Yog Alliance, Abhey Singh Sandhu nephew of Late Bhagat Singh, Acharya were other speakers of the day.
