New Delhi: The Media and Entertainment Committee of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is now significantly active under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the esteemed founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios.

In an online meeting addressing the management committee of IACC, Dr. Sandeep Marwah announced a series of initiatives aimed at fostering stronger ties between India and America. One of the key initiatives is the design of a seminar on Indo American Business Affairs, scheduled to be held at the Asian Business School. This seminar aims to enlighten young talents about the intricate relationship between the two largest democracies in the world.

Furthermore, Dr. Marwah revealed plans to highlight the significance of IACC in India for developing and promoting relationships between the two nations. This will be achieved through a press meet and addresses to students of AAFT (Asian Academy of Film and Television) and members of the Indo American Film and Cultural Forum.

Building on these efforts, the committee is actively working on organizing the Indo American Media and Entertainment Summit slated to take place in New Delhi in November. This summit is expected to serve as a significant platform for dialogue and collaboration between stakeholders from both countries in the media and entertainment sectors.

The proactive approach of Dr. Sandeep Marwah towards enhancing Indo-American relations was highly appreciated by the President of IACC North Region, Arun Karna, and other members of the management committee. Chicago, USA:  Renowned figure in the world of creative arts, Sandeep Marwah, was recognized for his remarkable contributions spanning over 48 years by the esteemed Chicago Open University, USA. The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mr. Marwah by Dr. Ravi Gupta, representing Chicago Open University, and Bhavna Gupta, Special Envoy from Dubai, in a ceremony filled with accolades and admiration.

Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, reflected on his journey in the creative realm, beginning from his early days after graduating from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi, in 1975. His passion for the arts led him through professional theatre, television, and eventually into the world of cinema, where he left an indelible mark. Undeterred by challenges, he remained steadfast in his dedication to arts and culture, even throughout his academic pursuits at Bhagat Singh College and other institutions.

In 1986,  Marwah envisioned and designed the iconic Noida Film City, laying the foundation for a hub of cinematic excellence. This endeavour was followed by the establishment of Marwah Studios in 1991, a testament to his vision and commitment to the film industry. Furthermore, his foray into creative education in 1993 paved the way for the establishment of AAFT and numerous organizations dedicated to various facets of the creative arts.

With over a thousand accolades to his name, Marwah’s impact transcends borders, as he tirelessly represents India’s creative industry on the global stage and vice versa. His unparalleled achievements have been recognized in esteemed institutions worldwide, including seven honors in the British Parliament, seven times in Hungary, honoured in Wales Parliament, Munich Parliament, as well as acknowledgments from dignitaries such as the Presidents of USA, Cyprus, , Mongolia, Trinidad & Tobago, Afghanistan, Luxembourg,  India  and Prime Minister of Nepal . Notably, he has been appreciated by the President of Croatia, Gambia, Nigeria, among numerous other international figures, and has been studied as a case study in 27 countries.

New Delhi, India – February 25, 2024: In a cordial meeting followed by a Get Together organized by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) at Lalit Hotel, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chair for the Media and Entertainment Committee of IACC and President of Marwah Studios, had the honor of briefing Her Excellency Shefali Razdan Duggal, American Ambassador to the Netherlands, about the various activities undertaken by Marwah Studios in collaboration with the United States of America.

Chaired by Arun Karna, President of Indo American Chamber of Commerce, the event provided an ideal platform for fostering dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.

During the meeting, Dr. Sandeep Marwah highlighted the significant milestones achieved through Marwah Studios’ engagements with the United States. Noida: The AAFT School of Animation recently hosted a summit on WEB 3 and Metaverse Technology of the Future Leaders in Metaverse, with Dr. Sindhu Bhaskar, Radhika Iyengar, and Jordan Woods from the USA, and Cathy Dimarchos from Australia as guest speakers. The summit aimed to provide students with insights into the latest technological advancements in the field of animation and gaming.

The distinguished speakers discussed the future of metaverse technology and how it is shaping the animation and gaming industries. They shared their experiences and insights on the potential of metaverse technology and its impact on society.

New Delhi: It is matter of great pride for every Indian as India is the Chair Country for G 20 and our Prime Minister will lead the organization throughout the year 2023. We all must come forward to make this year a very colorful, with large number of events depicting our best of the relations with member countries and European Union,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Media and Entertainment Committee of Indo American Chamber of Commerce immediate after the meeting with Sherpa India of G20 Amitabh Kant.

The meeting was attended by some of the committee chairmen along with National President Dr. Lalit Bhasin at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan Chanakyapuri in the office of Amitabh Kant Nominated Sherpa for G20.

We will work like Ambassadors to G20 round the year by organizing large number of events with member countries said Sandeep Marwah representing number of countries as their cultural representative.

Noida: Award-Winning Indian American Filmmaker and Director Mukesh Modi visited Asian Academy of Film and Television and shared his vast experience in film business with the students of Cinema. The event was supported by Indo US Film and Cultural Forum of ICMEI.

Mukesh Modi has been the producer and director of feature films like -The Elevator: Award-Winning Film Starring Oscar Nominee Eric Roberts and Recipient of Three Awards for Best Film, Best Actor (Eric Roberts), and Best Director.

As an industry innovator, Modi decided to be the change by launching a widely successful streaming service—Indie Films World (IFW). “Indie Films World is a one-stop Over the Top (OTT) Platform for the new world of entertainment in streaming movies, web series, live TV, TV shows, podcasts, and more. IFW is dedicated to providing content that is unique, dynamic, and difficult to find elsewhere. Best of all, members can watch on-demand or select an affordable plan,” said Mukesh Modi.

Joshua Lincoln Addressed students of Asian Business School

Noida:  Joshua Lincoln the descendant of Abraham Lincoln  from Boston USA is a Senior Fellow (non-residential) at the Centre for International Law and Governance at Fletcher, the Graduate School of Global Affairs, Tufts University visited Asian Education Group in Noida to deliver address on current issues in the World.

Between 2013 and 2019, Dr. Lincoln served as Secretary-General of the Bahá’í International Community.  In that role he represented the international governing council of the Bahá’í community in its external affairs; managed relations with governments, municipalities, universities and civil society; and developed multi-year programs and partnerships.  

Between 2000 and 2013, he worked on global peace and security issues at the United Nations, including postings as Directeur de Cabinet to the Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva and as Senior Officer in the Executive Office of Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York.  He also worked in mediation and preventive diplomacy with the UN Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission and in UN peacekeeping and peacemaking field missions in Ethiopia/Eritrea and North/South Sudan.   

Earlier, as an academic/policy researcher, he carried out projects for several universities and think tanks and the World Bank.  He holds a BSFS from Georgetown University in International Politics, and both a MALD and a PhD in International Relations from Tufts University.  He speaks fluent French and basic Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish.

Later Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured Joshua with the memento and  membership of International Business and Management Research Centre of Asian Education Group. The event was designed by Kazem Samandari and supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry & Indo American Film and Cultural Forum.

Noida: Asian Academy of Film and Television has recently signed a MOU with Cistula Tulipp Group- the Entertainment Felicitators around the World from United States of America to promote film activities in India and America.

“I have been to AAFT & Marwah Studios many times and always been impressed by the quality and quantity of work projected by Sandeep Marwah through his large organizations dealing in different creative works. I also faced many instances where I have come across very talented film makers, turns out to be the product of AAFT. I admire the bubbling energy of the campus every time you visit here,” said Mike Berry while signing the MOU at Noida Film City.

“We are lucky to have Mike Berry on the board. His cooperation and coordination with American Film Industry cannot be ignored. We thank him for selecting our students for internship for American Film Companies,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking him for his visit.

Needless to say that AAFT and Marwah Studios      have a lot to do with USA. Sandeep Marwah also chairing Indo America Film and Cultural Forum and associated with Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

Uttar Pradesh Is Next Film Hub for Cinema and Tourism- Sandeep Marwah

New Delhi: “Noida Film City today is the fastest growing film city in this part of the World. Hundred Acres -75 Outdoors, 25 acres indoors, 16 studios, 350 Channels are being broadcast to 162 countries 24×7, 17000 media professionals are Working in 3 shifts of 8 hours each and cascading effect is that approx. Hundred thousand people are earning their bread because of film city,” said Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios in a webinar on Uttar Pradesh USA relations organized by Indo American Chamber of Commerce.

“More than two million people have already visited Noida Film City from all over India and 145 countries of the World under Film Tourism. I am happy that UP Government is now coming with the bigger and better film city project in Noida. There is a huge American participation so far which can be raised to next level.  Time to come UP will be a next hub of Cinema and tourism,” added Sandeep Marwah moderating the program who is also Chair for Media And Entertainment Committee of IACC.
