Noida: In a recent talk with journalism students of AAFT, Dr. M. M. Goyal, a renowned educationist, stressed the importance of ethics in journalism. Goyal urged the students to maintain the highest ethical standards in their reporting and avoid sensationalism and biases. He also highlighted the need for journalists to remain objective and independent, and to prioritize accuracy and factual reporting. Film from Azerbaijan Begged Award of Distinction at 11th GFJN-2023
Noida: The documentary film “Legend of Kharibulbul” by professional Swedish photographer and filmmaker Mikael Silkeberg begged the Award of Distinction at 11th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023. The award was presented by Festival President Dr. Sandeep Marwah to Ambassador of Azerbaijan H.E. Dr. Ashraf Shikhaliyev in a grand function after the screening of the film.
“Art and culture play a vital role in strengthening the ties between India and Azerbaijan. Both countries have a rich cultural heritage that can be shared and celebrated. Collaborations in fields such as music, dance, and cinema can deepen mutual understanding and promote people-to-people connections. The documentary, shot on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Sweden, with the support of the National Commission of Azerbaijan for UNESCO and Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture, features remarks by a number of well-known cultural and artistic figures about history of Karabakh and its crown – the city of Shusha, its music and literature, as well as historical figures. The shootings of the film also took place in Shusha.

Street Play by AAFT Cinema Students was a Big Hit During Global Festival
Noida: The AAFT School of Cinema organized a street play on social issues during all the three days of 11th Global Festival of Journalism at Marwah Studios, that received appreciation from all who witnessed it. The play was a collaborative effort by the students, who wrote, directed, and performed the play themselves.
The play addressed a range of social issues, such as gender inequality, domestic violence, and environmental degradation, using humor, and drama to drive home important messages. It was an engaging and thought-provoking performance that left a lasting impact on the audience.

Noida: “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was an Indian statesman and one of the leaders of the Indian independence movement. He was India’s first deputy prime minister and played a key role in the integration of India’s princely states into a united, independent nation after India’s partition in 1947 informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah to the House on the launching of his poster during 11th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2023.

Noida: Sandeep Marwah is a renowned Indian film producer, director, and media personality. He is the founder of the Noida Film City, the fastest growing film and television production center, and the Marwah Studios, a leading creative house in India.
Marwah began his career as a theatre artist and went on to produce over ,3500 short films. He has been associated with several feature films and television programs. He is the recipient of numerous national and international awards for his contribution to the film industry.

Round Table on Television in New Millennium at 11th Global Festival of Journalism
Noida: Media is vital for spreading information, shaping public opinion, and providing a platform for diverse voices and perspectives. Television is the important segment of the same. Television has come a long way since its inception, and the new millennium has brought about significant changes to the medium. Today we are here to discuss television in this round table,” initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City and President Marwah Studios in the opening session of the discussion.
