Noida: Sandeep Marwah, the Chairperson of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and WPDRF recently spoke to members of the Confederation of World Religion about the importance of sustainability and climate action.

During the interaction, Marwah highlighted the role of religions in promoting sustainability and protecting the environment. He emphasized the need for a collective effort to address the global challenges of climate change, pollution, and natural resource depletion.

Sandeep Marwah invited Ravi Karkara of USA, a former advisor to United Nations, on the board of World Peace Development and Research Foundation. Marwah as Patron to Confederation of World Religion,  also presented him with the responsibility as Chief Global Convener of Confederation of World Religion.

Ravi Karkara has over two decades of experience working on Sustainability and Climate Action. He has worked globally on sustainability initiatives in Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He is the Co-Founder of global initiatives like the Global Un-Plastic Day, Global Solar Day, and Global Green Hydrogen Day. He co-founded the Youth for Green Hydrogen global initiatives in transiting societies to renewable energy sources. He mentors many award-winning Sustainability initiatives, CEOs, CXOs, Investors, and start-ups worldwide.

Later Ravi Karkara honoured Sandeep Marwah with “Investors Forum India Meet New York”  memento as a gesture of goodwill. Acharya Satyendra Narayan President Confederation of World Religion, Zena Chung Social Worker from South Korea were also present there. The event was supported by Indo American Film and Cultural Forum.

Noida:  On the second day of the 15th Global Film Festival Noida, a film from Venezuela “Steel- Clad”, was screened at the festival. During the screening, the Festival President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said “Art is an essential element to build relations between countries”. He enlightened the audience about the Indo-Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum and relation between the two countries.

“Thirty years back we gave one term to English dictionary that is “Film & Cultural Tourism”, no body could understand that but now every country is talking about it. To honour our own term we have been able to attract three million people so far to Noida Film City under Film and Cultural Tourism,” expressed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Alfredo Caldera, talked about Venezuela’s solitary cinema and how the movie, “Steel Clad” is a significant milestone in the evolution of the art, culture and cinema of Venezuela. He also extended his gratitude, to connect with ICMEI and India. Lastly, he explained how these events strengthen relations between the countries and are essential tools to propagate cinema. 

 Dr. Sandeep Marwah felicitated  Alfredo Caldera, with the distinction award for the film “Steel Clad” for being one of the most distinguished films of the festival, which was followed by the screening of “Steel Clad”. The event was supported by AAFT University, AUA-Asian Unity Alliance,, ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and WPDRF-World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Mushaira on Love Peace and Unity Through Literature

Mushaira by Renowned Poets from All Over India at Marwah Studios

Noida: To spread the word of Love Peace and Unity -the theme of the festival, a Mushaira was performed during the  8th Global Literary Festival Noida by renowned poets  at Marwah Studios which was well attended by the delegates from all over India.

The session started with the release of  book titled “Tera Aksh” written by Rahul Rai Gupta which is a compilation of his incomplete thoughts about love and pain. Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai, the former Director General of All India Radio spoke about  his contribution in “Tera Aksh” and shared his experiences in the field of radio.

During the event, Sapna Ahsaas through her poetry talked about being positive and added “helping others can bring people closer and  can build stronger relationships”. Mala Kapoor  said, ”blessings of teachers & elders is the energy to move towards your destination,”  She expressed her emotions about life and instances through ghazals and shayari.

Akhtar Azmi captured nostalgic instances through his poetry. His shayari put light on

the importance of memories that one needs to cherish.  Urvashi Agarwal Urvi presented the shayari and talked about the fact that despite diversified cultures and traditions, our country stands one and is united for over decades. Surender Shazar, Moin Shadaab, ,Vigyan Vrat, Renu Hussain, Nanparvi, Shahid Anjum, participated in the event and presented beautiful shayari mesmerizing the audience.

The vote of thanks was proposed by the Festival Director Sushil Bharti. The moderators of the event were  Urvashi Agarwal ’Urvi’ and Mala Kapoor. Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios gave his closing remarks and also recite poetry related to the theme. Later Marwah presented festival memento to all the poets.

The purpose of the whole exercise is to be good human being and see to it that you don’t hurt any other intentionally,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios during his visit to Brahma Kumaris Centre at Dubai.

“Always Do Your Best, your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret,” added Dr. Marwah.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah paid his respect to the well-known Raja Yoga Centre Dubai and met Jyoti Bhen and other members of the centre. A special prayer was conducted for the World Peace during his visit. He also spoke about World Peace Development and Research Foundation, an association working for World Peace.

Marwah added, “What we need is only Peace so that all of us can grow together. The Chancellor’s address was followed by dance, music, songs by different schools of AAFT including AAFT School of Cinema, AAFT School of Mass Communication and Journalism, AAFT School of Performing Arts, AAFT School of Still Photography, AAFT School of PR Events and Advertising and Asian Academy of Film and Television.

The program was devised and conducted by students of AAFT School of P R Events & Advertising and turned out to be  one of the best exercise for the students. The heads of all school were also present there. World Wildlife Day Celebrated at AAFT Noida Film City

Noida: World Wildlife Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that their conservation provides to people.

“In 2022, the theme is ‘Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration. ‘ The theme for 2022 seeks to raise awareness of the critically endangered species of flora and fauna in our ecosystems, with a view to generating and implementing workable solutions to conserve them,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism while conducting a seminar on the subject at Marwah Studios.
