Film  Detonation from Belarus Won the Hearts at 15th Global Film Festival

Noida: On the second day of 15th Global Film Festival, commenced at Marwah Studios, an award winning film “Detonation” from Belarus was screened, later which was given the ‘Award of Distinction’ by Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University & President of the festival.

The cast for the movie includes Andrey Senkin and Dariya Karpechenkova. The movie revolved around The Second World War. On the territory of liberated Belarus, a large amount of work on mine clearance of the territories from the remnants of war: unexploded mines and shells left in the ground is carried out. In order to clear the territories, volunteers squads from the members of OSOAVIAKHIM are formed narrated by Ms. Anastasiya Vorakh Counsellor at Embassy of Belarus, who also inaugurated the film event.

 A book titled  “Growth and Mindset” written by  Samaresh Shah of Niti Aayog, was also released, which basically revolves around how to build wealth and one can lean the real meaning of inner growth. The other guests present on the occasion were Film Maker AAFTian Rajinder Saigal , Actor AAFTian Masoom Singh,  known for his role in Back to Dad, and Neha Singh the founder of Freizeit Media OTT Channel.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Akriti SIngh. The event was supported by Indo Belarus Film and Cultural Forum, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, International Film and Television Club, Asian Unity Alliance and World Peace Development and Research Foundation. Film was appreciated by one and all.

Sandeep Marwah Invited by Global Cooperation House in London

London: Dr. Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios & World Peace Development and Research Foundation, was invited by the Global Cooperation House in London of Brahma Kumaris where he was briefed with the activities of the centre related to Peace.

“I am amazed to see the facilities and the real peace environment at the Global Cooperation House London. The centre is doing a marvellous job to bring in peace and love together at this part of the World,” said Sandeep Marwah thanking the management for inviting and giving an opportunity to meet some of the prominent leaders of the centre including Sister Jayanti.

Global Co-operation House is the London home of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, serving as its national co-ordinating office. The house has become a familiar landmark in the area, offering a place of calm in a hectic world.   The house quickly became a focal point of the international Brahma Kumaris community and has attracted visitors from most of the 110 countries where we have activities, making it truly a house of global co-operation informed Sister Jeminy.

The Brahma Kumaris are a spiritual movement that originated in India during the 1930s. The Brahma Kumaris movement was founded by Shri Lekhraj Kripalani . The organisation is known for the prominent role that women play in the movement.

It teaches a form of meditation that focuses on identity as souls, as opposed to bodies. They believe that all souls are intrinsically good and that God is the source of all goodness. The organisation teaches to transcend labels associated with the body, such as race, nationality, religion, and gender, and it aspires to establish a global culture based on what it calls “soul-consciousness”.

New Excitement on the Third Day of 5th Global Fashion and Design week

Noida: “It is always sounds impossible until it is done, and we did it. 700 Garments, 200 Designers, 52 countries, 90 rounds, 8 Fashion shows, 45 furniture pieces, and all in three days at Marwah Studios in association with AAFT School of Fashion and Design, 5th Global Fashion and Design Week has been declared as one of the most well-established festivals in the country,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry on the third and final day of the festival.

“To all the young designers please note that your range of garments must be exclusive, different, creative but also reasonable. That is what will make you survive for larger number of years in this competitive market. What all you have presented is out of the box and is as good as presentation by any international experienced designer,” added Sandeep Marwah.

The show started with great excitement with the range provided by Divya Mudgal and her collection was influenced by the colors of flora and fauna from Uzbekistan, Shivani Bajaj & Manish Kumar displayed very impressive collection from Cyprus, Alka played her cards influenced by Guatemala, Chhavi Gupta collected was from Hungary, Mahak Asif preferred from South Africa, Poonam opted for Bahamas, Kiran Vishwakerma designed keeping China in mind, Manish Bhatiya garments were part of Russia, Deepika showcased from Israel and  all the Diploma Students projected their garments from India,

Renowned beautician Upasana Arora, Director Indian Skills Development Council J.P. Singh, TV Presenter and model  Sharad Kohli Cultural attaché of Embassy of Kyrgyzstan Aigerim Zhakypbekova, also spoke on the occasion. A well designed dairy of Krati Jain was released by the dignities. The event was conducted by Avernita Srivastava and Prof. Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design proposed vote of thanks. Global Day of Parents Celebrated by World Peace Foundation

New Delhi: “We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves. When you look into your parent’s eyes, you know that is the purest love you can find on this earth. A parent’s love is whole no matter how many times divided. The best inheritance a parent can give his children is a few minutes of his time each day,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a webinar organised by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on the occasion of Global Day of Parents at AAFT University.

“Emphasizing the critical role of parents in the rearing of children, the Global Day of Parents recognizes that the family has the primary responsibility for the nurturing and protection of children. For the full and harmonious development of their personality, children should grow up in a family environment and in an atmosphere of happiness, love and understanding,” added Dr. Marwah.

Designated by the General Assembly in 2012, Global Day of Parents provides an opportunity to appreciate all parents on June 1 for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship.

Marwah Studios Celebrated World Red Cross Day

New Delhi: World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day  is an annual celebration  of the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement . World Red Cross Red Crescent Day is celebrated on 8th May  each year. This date is the anniversary of the birth of Jean Henry Dunant, who was born on 8 May 1828. He was the founder of International Committee of the Red Cross  (ICRC) and the recipient of the first Noble Peace Prize. 

“It has been long we have been associated with  this voluntary organization. Every year this day gives us the energy to work for the needy throughout the  year. I have been lucky to make some short films under First Aid Program which were broadcasted on MSTV for many times. Our Radio Station Radio Noida keeps on talking about the relief programs and try to bring numerous doctors to propagate good health,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios in a webinar to celebrate World Red Cross Day at Noida Film City.

The society’s mission is providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health & care of vulnerable people and communities. It has a network of over 700 branches throughout India.The event was celebrated in association with ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, WPDRF-World Peace Development And Research Foundation and AAFT University of Media And Arts.

World Day for Safety and Health at Work Observed at AAFT

New Delhi: The COVID-19 pandemic has led governments, employers, workers and the general population to face unprecedented challenges in relation to the virus and the many effects it has had on the world of work.

“The World Day for Safety and Health at Work will focus on strategies to strengthen national occupational safety and health (OSH) systems to build resilience, in order to face crises now and in the future, drawing on lessons learned and experiences from the world of work,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios making staff of the studios alert and cautious about the consequences.

Since emerging as a global crisis in early 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has had profound impacts everywhere. The pandemic has touched nearly every aspect of the world of work, from the risk of transmission of the virus in workplaces, to occupational safety and health (OSH) risks that have emerged as a result of measures to mitigate the spread of the virus.

New Delhi: The International Day of Happiness is an annual event organised by the United Nations to promote the idea that feeling happy is a global human right. ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry  supports and organises the day in association with Marwah Studios, AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television and WPDRF- World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

 Many of the world’s leading religions and philosophies promote positive emotions as vital for the well-being of mankind. However, the idea of having a dedicated day of observance for the concept is relatively new.

“The theme for this year’s International Day of Happiness is ‘Keep Calm. Stay Wise. Be Kind’ and is in response to the COVID pandemic. As we face an ongoing global crisis together, this year’s International Day of Happiness is a chance to find uplifting and positive ways to look after ourselves – and one another,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

World Water Day Celebrated at ICMEI

New Delhi: World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This Day is an opportunity to learn more about water related issues, be inspired to tell others and take action to make a difference.

“Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and World Peace Development And Research Foundation in a program organised by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. 

The theme of World Water Day 2021 is valuing water. The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment.

“If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource. Sustainable Development Goal is to ensure water and sanitation for all. Without a comprehensive understanding of water’s true, multidimensional value, we will be unable to safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone,” warned Marwah.

Citizen Journalist Awards to 21 Women on International Journalism Day

New Delhi: “This is the first time that Marwah studios has constituted an award for Citizen Journalist on the occasion of 30 years of Marwah Studios. Idea is to honor those women who have adapted journalism even though they are busy with their own profession. Some of the women are in education, luxury consultancy, event management, social work, performing artists, fine artists, charted accountant, scientists but tried to entertain and kept busy thousands of people during pandemic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

“What a great idea to celebrate women’s capabilities and capacities. Not many people think like that. I must congratulate each and every woman on getting such a prestigious award and all my best wishes to Dr. Marwah for creating women empowerment. The embassy of Panama supports this endeavor,” said H.E. Yasiel A Burillo R Ambassador of Panama to India.

“Dr. Marwah is the Show Man of India. Every event at Global Festival of Journalism has added to the total grandeur of the festival. Not only Marwah speaks but proves it by becoming an example himself. There is lot to learn from his experience. Mobile phone has enough features to work for the peace too,” said Peter Ferris Journalist and film maker from United Kingdom.

“It is important to rise above your own self and start thinking for the society. Citizen journalism is the best way to keep your community informed and alert in the fastest way,” added Manuel Freire Garabal Lawyer and Journalist from United Kingdom.
