London, UK – The London chapter of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) recently held a crucial meeting to discuss strategies for enhancing activities that strengthen Indo-UK relations. The meeting was attended by prominent figures including Dr. Padmesh Gupta, Tejendra Sharma, Mahendra Jadeja, Vikkas Arun Preteek, and Savvy Bamane.

British Business Group Hosts Powerful Networking Meet at Marwah Studios

Noida: The British Business Group (BBG), in association with the Indo-UK Film and Cultural Forum (IUKFCF) and the Indo-Wales Creative Forum-IWCF, organized a dynamic networking event at Marwah Studios in Film City Noida. The event aimed to infuse new energy into the ongoing development and promotion of the India-UK relationship through business, art, and culture.

Tarun Singhal, treasurer of the British Business Group, highlighted the importance of these gatherings. “These get-togethers with dignitaries associated with the United Kingdom in any and every way enhance the level of business between India and the UK. We have been one of the most successful organizations associated with the British High Commission in New Delhi,” he stated.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the host of the program and Ambassador of Wales to India, inaugurated the session by emphasizing his long-standing relationship with the United Kingdom, particularly Wales, spanning over two decades.

“I on behalf of Indo UK Art and Cultural Forum & Indo Wales Creative Forum extend my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family of Great Britain and the people of United Kingdom on the demise of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” said Dr Sandeep Marwah while talking to the press.

“A fitting tribute to late Queen who always served the people with dignity and calm. My deepest sympathy to the royal family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was an amazing woman and will be missed,” added Marwah.

The award was presented by H. E. Anthony Carmona SC ORTT Former President of Trinidad and Tobago and H.E. New Delhi: “I on behalf of Indo Wales Creative Forum, the complete media and entertainment Industry and art and culture fraternity of India extend my heart felt condolences to the  Royal family of Duke of Edinburg,” said Sandeep Marwah Chair of Indo Wales Creative Forum and Champion of Wales on the demise of Prince Phillip, the lifelong companion of Queen Elizabeth II and the longest-serving consort in British history, died at the age of 99 on Friday.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. Further announcements will be made in due course. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.

A Film Workshop By Peter Ferris at AAFT University

New Delhi: An interesting Workshop on new techniques of film making, using mobile phones, laptops and web applications brought by Peter Ferris in his condensed workshop was organized by AAFT University for the students of cinema.

Peter Ferris has been at the forefront of revolutionizing the Film, TV and Music Industry for 30 years. His production company screens and represents actors, runs film making master classes and works with some of the world’s premiere film festivals. He is an award winning film producer and his productions appear at many leading industry film events worldwide each year. Peter has helped launch the professional careers of many well-known actors, actresses and performers and continues to provide screen-acting classes across the UK each month.

“I met Peter last year at Cannes International Film Festival 2019 France, where we were together as part of the jury for first ever Mobile Film Festival at Cannes. We were also part of the award function, where we were honored with the life time achievement award for contribution to Media,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT University.

It is Peter’s recent work to develop smartphone movie making applications that positions him as an technology innovator and entrepreneur who is facilitating new ways in his industry.

“Once recorded it becomes history. I believe that film making should be part of our life and that is why I am promoting easy way of making films. I am happy that Dr. Marwah also believes in the same theory and he is also in film education,” said Peter Ferris. Later the session was followed by question answers.
